Dr. Mayer has served at various international management positions in Research and Development within Schaeffler. He is an engineer at heart and has successfully developed products that from idea to market. Prior to joining the patent department at Schaeffler, he was responsible for building up and consecutively leading the collaboration between Schaeffler and Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Regarding IP, he has been sitting at both sides of the table. In his current position, he is coordinating the Digitalization activities in the Patent Department.
